Our story
Cambridge Automation was founded to solve a problem that frustrated manufacturers everywhere: perfectly good CNC machines being scrapped. Not because the metalwork had worn out, but because the control electronics had become obsolete.
We developed the iMOTiON control system to answer that problem. Today it is one of the only control systems in the world that can fully emulate the original G-code sets of leading CNC brands, meaning your existing programmes, tooling and CAD/CAM system all continue to work, unchanged.
Our customers range from single-site fabricators in the UK to large multi-machine facilities in North America. We also supply our control systems to machine builders, OEM partners and independent service engineers worldwide.
